My family of 3 needed time alone. We always host people at home, I run 2 businesses, home school my son, and he has therapy several times a week. We had a visit at CHOA and decided to take a few days away. When I say this is the best vacation rental I've experienced to date, that is saying a lot because I love to vacation and have stayed many places. I cried when I left to go home. We spent 90 percent of our time in Ellijay just being together and relaxing at the cabin. We explored the creek and I spent my evenings on the porch with a blanket and Netflix. If I wasn't playing in the creek, I was soaking in the tub. Will definitely stay again.

This was the most comfortable home we have ever stayed. The Kitchen was amazingly stocked with every kind of cooking pot/pan/utensil you would ever need to be able to eat, drink and be merry. The porch was great...it rained the whole time we were there, but we were able to sit on the porches and still enjoy being outside and hearing the creek. Because of the bad weather we did not get to enjoy the different sitting areas around the creek, but they were all very nicely done.

Whispering Creek is a beautiful home. Having the creek out the back door is a great highlight of this property. One potential maintenance need: the sliding glass doors are very difficult to lock.

From the moment we drove up to your lovely home, we knew we chose the perfect place to spend our Anniversary. The property was breathtakingly beautiful. The interior of the home was gorgeous! It had every accessory we could need or want, and then some. Plus, everything was high end. The little touches like that mean everything to guests. The bed was so comfortable and I just loved the softness of the bedding. Our favorite place to spend time was definitely the back patio. Listening to the creek, the birds, looking at the night sky, it couldn't have been more perfect. We saw deer up above the hiking trail and was surprised to see a young turkey too. If you love the mountains, a beautiful drive, a stunning home, then this is the getaway place for you! Thank you for sharing your home!

This priority was absolutely gorgeous. Loved how it felt so cozy and comfortable. Wife loved soaking in that amazing tub after a long day of hiking. Kitchen was well equipped as well. My favorite part was the creek in the back yard. So relaxing it was.

Great spot to getaway from the city life. The home has all the essentials that you need and all the comforts that you want and is just 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay. Ellijay has a variety of great dining options, the Roof, River Street Tavern and the Butcher and Bottle are some of our favorites. But nothing compares to sitting by the creek every night and enjoying the sounds of nature with the ones you love.

We have stayed at many places throughout the years and to date, this is #1 for us. The home and location was beautiful. Having the river in the back was fun to explore with the kids and peaceful in the evenings when relaxing in one of the many outdoor areas. The cleanest home we have ever stayed at and it was definitely pet free. This was extremely nice and important for us as my wife and son are very allergic to cats/dogs. Many places advertise no pets but its not always the case. Typically our kids are burned out and ready to go back home but this time they wanted to bring the house and river back with us. Look forward to staying again!

Typically, vacation rentals just barely meet expectations - if you're lucky. In this particular case, though, Whispering Creek exceeded expectations and set the bar for what you'd want in a vacation rental. We were there for four days. The setting was gorgeous - just as it was pictured. The interior of the home was clean, modern, comfortable and thoughtful. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed - and more. Everything in the home worked. The hot tub was sparkling clean. The three fireplaces were perfect. It was quiet (except for the sound of the creek).The manager of the home was responsive, with a mission to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely visit again, and I can't recommend this property enough.

My wife and I took great friends, my son's in laws on this trip and this has to be one of the most relaxing vacations ever! It is a true mountain retreat, the modern cabin is beautiful, and the hosts are excellent! Ellijay is a cute mountain town with small shops and restaurants that are wonderful. We will be reserving again for the summer, I wish I could give the property 10 stars, but 5 is all the will let me do :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home surrounded by nature and a beautiful creek. There were three minor glitches : I could not successfully adjust the hot tub temperature to the desired level (I wanted 100 degrees but could not get it about 94 degrees). I have had hot tubs in the past and I know how to adjust them; for some reason the panel would not keep the desired temperature. Maybe it was me, but I just thought I would mention it. Two other minor issues : We could not find any tissues at all in the cabin. Also, despite following the owner's instructions on how to light the fireplace in the screened porch we could not get the fireplace to start.

We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful home! The property is manicured and yet natural, the creek that runs along the back is lovely to look at and so peaceful to listen to. Beds/bedding/rooms are comfortable in every way, we slept incredibly well every night. The decor and vibe is modern, but still warm and cozy. Our friends were equally impressed and enamored, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Don't think twice, just book this gem and enjoy!

This June 30-July 6th was a girl's trip 2023. Maribel, Kathey and Peggy! We arrived to a gorgeous cabin in the mountain woods with the sounds of a rushing creek behind. This cabin has everything you need to cook and relax with your friends and family. We explored the towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The 4th Of July Parade was a pleasant surprise and the people are so welcoming. Even though I couldn't bring my furry friend the towns are all dog friendly. It would be so nice if your cabins were dog friendly. My friends and I will return and thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! Peace and Love

We had the most amazing vacation at Whispering Creek in Ellijay! We stayed for four nights. The pictures of the property were beautiful, but the place in person.... Wow! The house is stunning! The layout was perfect for our group with the two master suites. The furniture, decor and finishes are spectacular! The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The 5 fire features inside and out were awesome! I loved that the fireplaces and fire features inside and on the upper deck were easily controlled by timers. We built a real wood fire on the lower deck outback and just listened to the creek....It was soooo relaxing! The creek is beautiful and we loved the background noise of the creek while we were relaxing outside in the various seating areas. My husband and our friend fished in the creek and caught (and released) several beautiful rainbow trout.  The instructions for the house and the insider guide provided were clear, complete, and extremely helpful. We went to a couple of wineries, several breweries, and hiked several trails, including Amicalola Falls State Park. Downtown Ellijay was super quaint and had several great restaurants.  I can't say enough wonderful things about this house and the location. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay!

My Twin Sister, Brother in law and myself have been planning this trip for 8 months and couldn't wait to get here. We vacation in this area every 2 years and this is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed. It has everything you need and even things you didn't know you needed. It's beautifully decorated and so homey that you instantly feel relaxed. It was a perfect combination of weather for us because we got gorgeous days where we could sit on the back porch playing games and enjoying adult beverages whiles listening to music and the sound of the creek, followed by chilly evenings inside with the fireplace going as we ate dinner and watched tv together. My Twin and I would end every evening by sitting on the screened in porch with the fireplace going so we could have our own bonding time. We loved every minute staying here and highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to make some wonderful memories. Our only complaint( and this has nothing to do with the cabin itself) is that trash was not picked up on Wednesday and we had to leave a bag inside as we left before 6am and the trash place they suggested was not open. We were sad when we closed that door for the final time. We also left a note and tip for the cleaning person. Thanks again for offering up such an incredible place. Already thinking about the next vacation in 2 years

My husband and I came to Whispering Creek from Mississippi, just to get away with 2 of our friends. We enjoyed being in the house and listening to the creek so much that we barely left once we got there! We drove into town to the grocery store and ended up grilling out every night. The fire places were amazing in the colder parts of the day. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio by either of the gas fireplaces. One night the weather was so nice that we were able to sleep with just the screen door open to the patio and listened to the creek flow all night long. The house was very clean and the furniture was nice and comfortable. We appreciated how nice and clean the bathrooms were and loved the walk in showers. The bedrooms are full of windows so we woke up with the sun every morning. We would love to come back or visit another property from your company! We had a lovely experience!

This cabin was beautifully decorated, excellent mattresses. The owners had every accommodation and luxury you could think of. Loved location, it was cold so we didn't get to enjoy the outside like would have wanted. Creek was so peaceful and beautiful, and yes my grandson and son-in-law took a dare and took a polar plunge in the creek. The creek water was 42 and outside it was 32. This place was much more than we expected and loved that it was. Loved the gas logs inside and out. 5 stars because that is all you can do, here 100 stars.

What an amazing cabin! Everything was perfect, the cabin, the location, couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay! Everything was clean and just right amount of space, tons of outdoor space as well! The lights in river were a nice touch! Perfect location - not too far from town and not too close. The home was beautiful and well kept. We had everything we needed for a family of six on a weeklong vacation. The screened in porch with TV and fireplace was great. We spent most of our time outside when we were there. Nearby towns were a great place to shop, eat and enjoy outdoor activities. We highly recommend Whispering Creek.

I would give this property 100 stars if I could. This property is everything a relaxing getaway is made of. Every inch of the space is a treat. From the beautiful backsplash in the kitchen to the high ceilings and windows, to the thoughtful things like a fully stocked kitchen, top notch appliances, stylish decor, the record player and charging stations throughout, this place is awesome! The modern luxurious feel of the cabin is unmatched! The creek was the most relaxing amenity! We kept the doors open most of our stay just so we could enjoy the sound. You will not regret booking this cabin… just don't book all the dates before I book my next few stays! I can't wait to go back!!

My husband, 5-year old son, and I could not have asked for a better mountain getaway than Whispering Creek in Ellijay! Wow, each aspect of the "modern cabin" was perfectly laid out, from the comfortable master tub to the super cozy mattresses. The 24/7 rushing of the creek outside was what lulled us to sleep and also woke us up each morning. The neighborhood was gorgeous as we enjoyed evening walks across the bridge. We can not wait to book our stay for next year!

There are so many wonderful things to say about our stay at Whispering Creek. We were just beyond delighted with the house! We even came home and purchased some of the same pans, after enjoying cooking in the kitchen! The views are beyond out of this world. The house was so modern, yet comfy and cosy. We enjoyed time playing in the yard, relaxing in the hot tub, and eating around the island. We have rented from David in Destin, and are looking forward to our first time renting from him in Pigeon Fordge this summer. We have already started looking at our calendars to see when we can return to Whiperisng Creek again. It will not be our last visit!

Whispering Creek is lovely. The house and decor are so relaxing with the multiple outdoor deck areas, outdoor area and hot tub. We will definitely book a longer stay next time! The decor and furnishings were impressive and soooo comfortable. The house has a wonderful layout, and the house itself was well built and upscale. We loved our stay at this fantastic getaway! We really enjoyed our long weekend here. The house is spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed for cooking... plus plenty of counter space which was terrific. Big plus was having RO filtered water and we loved the open floor plan so we could be cooking and enjoying the fireplace. The location is wonderful... very private and peaceful by the creek. The outdoor hot tub is terrific and we enjoyed the screened porch and outdoor fireplace very much. Just two of us this trip, but the house would easily be comfortable for two couples. Highly recommended.

The directions to the cabin was a breeze. As soon as you walk in you will be wowed at the beautiful cabin ! The creek out back is loud and will put you into total relaxation . And the outside seating is a great place to be. We love Ellijay and will be looking forward to another stay at Whispering Creek!

This was our 2nd stay at Whispering Creek and it was just as wonderful if not better than our last visit! This modern cabin is top notch beautiful in a gorgeous location! The king bed in master bedroom is THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED EVER!! Hanging out by the creek and listening to the water is super relaxing! We can't say enough good things about this place! My husband and I took a getaway weekend to Ellijay and I'm so thankful we found Whispering Creek! What an absolutely gorgeous place, inside and out! We had such an enjoyable time at whispering creek! Rarely am I able to completely relax and feel “at home” while in a rental. This was a game changer for our family! The kitchen was 100% ready for use and functional in every way! Our favorite part was the covered porch with a fireplace (flick of a switch to turn on) looking out to the creek! We were able to relax with drinks, appetizers and a movie while watching our boys play in the creek. We had multiple deer sightings while sitting on the porch and even played a late night game of bags thanks to the awesome creek and back porch lighting! The rental was very clean and the beds are super comfortable! We have already decided to book another stay and almost (may still) purchased a lot in the neighborhood! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you!!

This cabin by far exceeded all expectations! From the design to the decor this home is top notch! The location is a dream come true! Listening to the creek is so relaxing! The property is absolutely beautiful! The amenities inside the cabin were awesome! The owners thought of everything! The master bed is sooo comfy you won't want to leave! The owner has provided lots of games and a custom corn hole game! The kitchen is stocked with every appliance and utensil you can think of! We had an amazing spring break trip. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated cabin, hot tub, and creek. We explored a lot this trip! So many great hiking/biking trails near by. We also enjoyed the adorable downtown Ellijay area. We loved every place that we ate (especially Emily's). We will be back to the area frequently, such a quick trip from the Atlanta suburbs.

We spent 4 nights at this wonderful cabin and enjoyed every moment. The location is perfect - right by a small creek, very intimate but not too isolated, couple of minutes from the town. It is a new cabin, very modern looking and comfortable for a family of 4 like ours. We enjoyed relaxing family time, played board games (there are many in the cabin itself), b spent time in the large outdoor jacuzzi, and especially enjoyed cooking our meals together. Wonderful time! We will surely consider visiting again in the future...

Wow! This place is amazing!! Beautifully appointed, perfectly located and thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need for 5 star vaca. My two favorite amenities were the hot tub overlooking the creek and the screened in porch, with it's own dedicated fireplace, which also overlooks the creek. Nothing more peaceful than hanging out by a fireplace while you listen to tranquil sounds of a flowing creek in your back yard. Will definitely be back!!!!!

This place is amazing. It is exactly as the owner stated and the location was perfect. The creek in the back was a great little perc. The subdivision is new and this house is one of the few completed. There is an awesome waterfall a short walk from the house. The owner was quick to reply and the cabin has all you could ask for. You will not regret staying here. It is easy to get to and about 15 minutes from town and the grocery store. All the roads are paved and it is a very easy drive.”
