Great house, great views. Everything worked out perfectly. We had a group of 14 with plenty of room for everyone. Kids enjoyed the pool, movie room, and pool table. Would highly recommend this location to anyone.

This house is the first VRBO I’ve rented that is as beautiful as the pictures! We had four families at the house and there was plenty of space for everyone. The indoor pool was nice and warm. The hot tub was well maintained. The movie room was a perfect hangout spot for the kids. When we arrived, the house was nice and clean with towels, sheets, toilet paper, and soaps available. Everything was in good working order from the dishwasher to the dryer. Communication with the owners was great! They checked in a few times to make sure our stay was going well. The neighborhood itself is beautiful. You are at the top of the ridge with beautiful views! We saw a family of bears nearby, which was cool. The proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Dollywood was perfect. Literally everything was lovely! Don’t hesitate-book this house and enjoy!

Our stay at Lookout Lodge was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was immaculate! Everything was very clean and everything that we needed was provided. We had a large group of 20 people and there was enough space for everyone. The view from the balcony at sunset is amazing!

Annual family and friends 10th cabin trip. As our numbers have grown over 10 years we need a larger cabin and this one was perfect. We had 4 elementary school aged kids that loved the pool and movie room. We did have a few not really problems but they were taken care of very quickly. Also, the weather cooperated with 3 inches of snow and the roads were graded and salted.(8 yr old from FL saw snow for the first time)

Location and cabin were great! No issues checking in. The only thing I would suggest is to replace/fix the bunk room beds. They squeak very loudly with just simply sitting up or rolling over in bed. They sound like they might collapse at any moment. Everything else was great!

Each fall I take the students in my youth ministry on a Fall Retreat to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. Lookout Lodge was the perfect pot for this year's retreat! It provided plenty of space for our whole group sessions and even breakouts as needed. The kitchen was spacious enough to allow for the necessary prepping, cooking and serving our group of 18. The students and leaders loved the outdoor porches, the game room, hot tub and especially the indoor pool.The multi-floor layout worked well with sleeping arrangements allowing separation between guys and girls. Lookout Lodge's location allows for easy trips to Pigeon Forge (approximately 15 minute drive) and Gatlinburg (approximately 25 minute drive). The hosts were friendly and responsive throughout the process. I would highly recommend giving them a chance for your next family vacation or retreat!

This cabin is in a good location with nice views. Google wants to take you up the unpaved road next to the cabin coming a going from Pigeon Forge. That road is unpaved, a little rough, and one lane for 1/2 mile. However, you do avoid a lot of traffic. The bedrooms are roomy and well equipped. The pool and hot tub are awesome. Overall, our group really enjoyed our stay.

The cabin is very nice and in a great location. It was clean except a little dusty; window seals, furniture, lamps, ceiling fans. When we got there one of the first things we did was check out the pool and the skimmer was gross, had some sort of nasty bubbles in it and pump did not seem to be working well. I called and someone was out within 30 minutes and he cleaned the filter again. He said the previous guest left the pool pretty nasty, but he had been out and cleaned it. Changing the filter helped. The kids enjoyed the pool. Theatre room is very nice. Arcade and pool table were fun! Bedrooms/baths very nice. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of seating in the living room and kitchen for our big family. Beautiful view from the balcony! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We had 4 families staying at the property which consisted of 8 Adults and 6 kids (ages 8-12). The house was well maintained and clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were very happy with the location and the added amenities including the pool and hot tub. They even provided a laundry basket which I find to be absent in most rentals! The only issue we had was with the hot tub in which the chemicals seemed to be off. I did ask for someone to come service it and the response was immediate with service provided the following day. Unfortunately, the tub still did not have enough chlorine and was dank smelling after servicing so I asked for service again. The second time they came the issue was resolved. I would definitely recommend this property for family groups looking to visit the area!

We stayed with Coastal Vibes in 2023 and had a great experience, so we decided to book a Mountain Vibe Adventure in 2024 and experienced the same great communication and customer service. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. We didn't plan to spend much time in the property itself, but since there was so much to do in the cabin, we ended up spending more time there than planned. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with the kids and we all enjoyed the pool table and arcade machine. We chose this property because it was so conveniently located to so many attractions: The Island at Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg Trail, and the Gatlinburg Strip & Anakeesta. We visited all of these areas, but especially enjoyed the attractions very close to Lookout Lodge. Some of our favorites were the Alpine Coaster, Extreme Racing Go-cart Racing, and the kids insist I mention Rita's Custard! I personally enjoyed walks in the neighborhood. There were other properties nearby managed by the same company, so I was able to meet some of the Mountain Vibe Team members and they were very friendly. I knew ahead of my trip that I would need to sign into a work meeting one of days and was nervous I would have issues, but the internet was GREAT! I would definitely stay at Lookout Lodge again!

Absolutely the nicest cabin we’ve ever stayed at in the mountains and we’ve been coming here over 20 years. We had a large group of mostly teenagers and adults and the size was perfect. No one ever felt like they were on top of each other and there was always plenty to do within the cabin. The views were amazing and we even had an up close and personal encounter with a bear that seemed to enjoy entertaining the kids by playing with sticks and rolling around on the ground in front of the balcony and looking at the camera for pictures lol It was an amazing trip and we would love to make it a yearly event at this house every year! This property is described online to the T. The home was great for our 11 adults and 3 children but would definitely accommodate the 28 it describes. So close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We noticed the corner of the area rug was destroyed and we informed the manager who immediately get back to us and thanked us for bringing to their attention. Really the only thing we needed to supply was food and of course extra toiletries. The pool water was cold. I believe it is only heated by the room temperature which was set to 86°. The media room was great for football watching! The bears in the "backyard" was an added bonus!! Oh and the veiws!!! My only complaint, which is my fault for not looking into it better, was the proximity of neighbors and no outside firepit. The inside fireplace is electric and to me that's just not the same. All in all I would stay here again

Really the only thing we needed to supply was food and of course extra toiletries. The pool water was cold. I believe it is only heated by the room temperature which was set to 86°. The media room was great for football watching! The bears in the "backyard" was an added bonus!! Oh and the veiws!!! My only complaint, which is my fault for not looking into it better, was the proximity of neighbors and no outside firepit. The inside fireplace is electric and to me that's just not the same. All in all I would stay here again

We had 5 kids and 8 adults visit for our yearly family vacation and we were thrilled with the property! Plenty of space for the kids and adults to be and not be on top of each other! The kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. We got to see a Mama bear and her 4 cubs several nights and once in the morning playing. We saw possums, raccoons, various birds and 2 skunks! More than when we went to the national park. It was clean and the owners were very responsive! We LOVED our stay!!!

Great property. The house was clean and well laid out; 2 bunk rooms and 2 master bedrooms on the top floor; 2 master bedrooms, family room and kitchen on main floor; theater room, game room, laundry, pool and hot tub on bottom floor. We had 14 of us and were able to get everyone around the kitchen table for meals, which was nice. The kitchen had almost everything we needed for cooking big meals but did lack on baking dishes and serving dishes. We had one large salad bowl and no serving platters, so more serving dishes would be an improvement. There were plenty of plates, bowls, saucers, silverware and glasses for the group. One other suggestion would be to provide more dish towels; 2 was not sufficient for our 4-night stay since we used the kitchen a lot. The outdoor grill was functional but heated very unevenly. It worked for baking potatoes but would have been challenging for meat. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and the swimming pool. The hot tub was nice and the privacy wall behind it shielded you from the neighboring house. We had good internet speed to the house; the wifi signal on the bottom floor was a bit weak, but there was lots to keep us entertained without staring at electronic devices. We saw bears in the area behind the house on two occasions and enjoyed all the decks. Overall, this was a great setup for our group (ages 7-81) and we had a very enjoyable family vacation to celebrate our parents 60th wedding anniversary.

Lookout Lodge was perfect for our family to enjoy time together. We had plenty of space to spread out while also having fun playing in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, and playing as a family. The location is no more than 15 minutes from everything activity in Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Gatlinburg. We will definitely be going back!

There were 23 of us staying. Everyone had a wonderful time. The kids loved the pool. The older folks enjoyed the hot tub. It was so nice that everyone had their own bathroom. It was very spacious inside the cabin. Every evening we would stand on the deck to see what animals might be around. We saw a mother bear with 4 cubs, adorable. Our stay was great! Check in was simple. We were provided with pre-arrival info and the communication was great! Our AC unit on the middle floor was broken but we were made aware prior to checking in and they set up window units to make us comfortable during our stay! It was the perfect location, so close to everything and it had the most beautiful views!

Plenty of room for everyone. Loved the pool in the basement. Spent a lot of quality time in the pool. Way way way too many speed bumps to get to the cabin. Actual cabin could use some updates. Seemed like they didn't really want to fix anything. I had to beg to get a working coffee maker. Very close to the neighbors. If you want to be outside this is not the cabin for you. But we got along great with our neighbors the whole weekend so we had no issues there.

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect and the property manager was great. We had part of the roof fall off during a wind storm and the very next day they had someone out to fix it! This is a beautiful, clean cabin! It's huge and accommodating for a family of 12 with plenty of extra room for more guests! It is in an excellent location and easy to get to. Close to Pigeon Forge by main roads for easy, quick travel. The cabin was almost exactly like seen in the advertisement pictures. This cabin has everything you will need in the kitchen and it also has baby gates, pack n play, and high chair! Also, I think the listing should say there are NO bedrooms in the basement around the pool area. That concerned me with taking 6 children and 3 of them being 5 and under. The door to the pool has a keypad lock also! This cabin is not secluded and it is in a small community area with neighbors on both sides. Overall, this was a great location with nice amenities and nice view.

In lieu of Christmas gifts this year, my husband and I decided to provide a winter getaway for our kids and grandkids (18 of us). They agreed that making memories together and staying in a cabin in the Smoky mountains would be wonderful! Lookout Lodge was a perfect place to spend our 3 days/4 nights together. When I asked the grandkiddos what their favorite thing of our stay was, they all said "everything!" The pool, hot tub, arcade room and movie theater were all a hit. Our adult children loved the beautiful views and simply enjoyed having great conversation and game playing. The only slight drawback was the cleanliness of the kitchen. Wet coffee grounds were left in the coffee maker and there was a sticky substance (syrup) on some of the cabinet doors. But all in all, it was a super place for our family, and we hope to be able to do this again in the future.

A great cabin for family of all ages. We celebrated our Christmas early so we could all be together. The cabin is in a great location not far from the main attractions in Pigeon Forge, but you would never have to leave the cabin if you didn't want to. The pool heater wasn't working, but the maintenance guys showed up within 30 mins of my call and fixed it. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials for cooking for a large group. The game room kept the “kids at heart” occupied for hours. Overall, it was great! I would definitely book it again!

Highly recommended! 10-15 minutes from shopping/restaurants but felt like you were staying in the mountains. Great spot for large groups wanting to be near Pigeon Forge, Wears Valley, or the Smokies.

This cabin was beautiful with amazing views. We were surprised by the kitchen equipment available. Property manager was very friendly and kept us informed ahead of time there was a minor maintenance issue, and did everything they could to make sure it didn't impact our stay.

We had 16 people staying, ages 10 to 74. There was plenty of room for all of us and we never felt cramped. Kids were entertained in the game room. We had heavy rain showers the first night and we had quite a bit of water in a number of rooms. It did make me rather apprehensive the rest of the stay but ultimately all was good. We had a great time.

This cabin was beautiful with amazing views. We were surprised by the kitchen equipment available. Property manager was very friendly and kept us informed ahead of time there was a minor maintenance issue, and did everything they could to make sure it didn't impact our stay.

I was a little anxious driving up that steep mountain to get to our cabin, but the views were awesome. The younger kids were in the swimming pool every spare moment and the older boys were playing pool every chance they had. The family watched several movies throughout the week and was impressed with having a movie room. There was something for every age level. WOW! This cabin is amazing. We had 7 adults and 7 children and it was the perfect size. We cooked lots of meals in; steaks, hamburgers, and breakfast. Plenty of everything you need for cooking. The bunk rooms were perfect for the children. The view was beautiful. It was well stocked with necessary cooking pots, pans etc. The only concern was the ice maker was very slow making ice. It took several days to make ice. We would highly recommend this property and hope to come back in the future.

Enjoyed the cabins view. The beds were so soft and comfy. Loved every bedroom having their own private bathroom. Plenty of room for 20 people. Within an HR of arrival we seen a bear in the greenery in the back of cabin. We had 3 fixable issues that were taken care of fast. We had no cable or internet from arrival to noon next day. Heating was out on pool from arrival till next afternoon. Air conditioning froze up. David was on top of these issues when I called. Thank you. I have to say the furniture in the family room is definitely in need of an upgrade It is quite tired.

The drive up the mountain was very well maintained and very easily accessible compared to other cabins I have stayed in within the area. All the soldiers had a wonderful time and made great memories. This home was very nice but it did need a better cleaning than what was done. There were spider webs and cobwebs throughout the home. The bathroom toilets were not clean. The couch sheets were dirty on the bed. The front door lock should be replaced we could not get in on first try it would not open. The orange room number (6) shower is dripping. . Everyone enjoyed the pool and the game room. Even though the pool got hotter and hotter each day. Thursday the pool was so hot no one could stay in the pool. Overall, the home was beautiful. We would come back here again.

We had an issue with the door lock but had no problem getting a hold of the owner for assistance. The pool was to warm as the week went on and weather got warmer outside. It was great the first couple of cooler days. It needs to be adjusted to summer temps, 85 degree pool water was not refreshing! However, we had a lot of fun in there prior to the weather spike. I would most definitely recommend this cabin and stay here again. The view was amazing!

Great cabin with lots to do for all ages. Pool, games, theatre room. Pros: each room has lots of beds, pillows, towels. Cons: walls are thin and you need sound machines if little kids are going to sleep while anyone else is going to do anything. Also other houses are very close and other guest were up past midnight on their decks being very loud. The pool is nice to have the but liner is crazy wrinkled and too big. Overall great stay and would come back.

We had a blast in this cabin. We had a total of 10 people- 5 kids (all 6 and under) and had plenty of room. The location is great to get into the national park. Beautiful view and clean home. Only issue we had was that we could never find the remote to the TV in the pool room and the ice machine/water dispenser didn't work.

My party of 20 (10 kids, 10 adults) had the best time! The views were amazing! The pool was perfect for the kids. The kids also enjoyed the whole game room and theater room. The hot tub was the cherry on top. We also saw a family of bears two of the nights (back behind the cabin, they didn’t come up to the road or anything) which was so exciting for us all.
The kitchen is plenty big with most everything you could need (even 2 crock pots, and kid plates, cups, forks etc which I didn’t expect). We also used the grilled one night, so I was glad they included that!
I will say, this is the first air bnb I’ve stayed at where paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, and toilet paper aren’t fully stocked and you’re expected to bring your own (they do have starter items but it won’t last the whole stay).
The bedrooms have plenty of space, the bathrooms are also a great size. If you have little ones you may want to note they have only showers, no bathtubs. Also, the 2 bathrooms on the main floor you can only access by walking through a bedroom- this wasn’t a huge issue for us, but worth noting.
We had a few minor issues and David was so quick to respond and did his best to resolve our issues which I really appreciated!
The location was great. There is a cute little store near by and a dollar general near for quick trips. The cabin is up high so you can see so much. If you take a 2 minute walk down the road there is another area with a really pretty view as well.
Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Every room had a TV and a bathroom and three balconies with a truly beautiful view which allowed us to get away for quiet time when needed or a fun night together. We had 15 people total. The house is absolutely beautiful! We only had a few issues: the huge tv in the pool room was broken, the heat in the pool was so hot that we could not even get in for the last 2 days of our stay, and the game system by the pool table did not work either. The large TV and the theatre room was amazing! I’d consider staying there again, maybe when the prices are a little more reasonable though. Communication with the manager was very good too.

THE HOME WAS AWESOME. We did not feel as though we were in a rental, very comfy! Has great areas for any kind of weather. We wanted to stay at the house more as we were celebrating our daughters ( #5 child to graduate ...only 2 more to go ) graduation from homeschooling. There was something for everyone to do all the time. Decorated wonderfully! Beds were VERY COMFY... 2 sets of adults had to use the bottom bunks which was ok. you may want to upgrade the bottom mattresses for when this may happen, they were still pretty comfy though. Can we get the name of the mattress? ( we tried to look but it was zip tied). Nice to have a barrier so know beds are really clean. You thought of everything a family or group may want. Things to consider: Maybe more bean bags or cushions in the media room. Pool towels, we thought there were some based on the picture so our fault we didnt bring any and had to use the bath towels { which were of AWESOME quality } . *maybe consider providing 2 dish packets for each day for larger groups, bummer to have to use vaca money on dish detergent...cheap for you and so convenient for the guests. especially since we had to have them cleaned before we left...we washed them by hand and then ran the dishwasher though to sanitize them. Hoping to use floor plan and what you have done in our home if we build a home, hopefully soon. Thank you for a great home to have a wonderful time. IT WAS GREAT.... If we come back to the area we will totally consider this home again. We already referred you to a friend! Merry Christmas 2019! The Franks

A great space to stay and play! Well appointed and stylish home with plenty of room for kids and adults. The location is great for hiking, horseback riding and general outdoor fall activities. One thing to note if you have super small kiddos is that there is not an actual tub for bathing. Our kiddos are mostly old enough, but a good thing to know :). The pool area with the tv is awesome and was a huge hit, as was the hot tub. The view was beautiful and we could not have hoped for a better weekend.

I believe we were the first guests to stay in this cabin and we were amazed how well decorated entire cabin was. While we only had 13 people the kitchen truly could handle the 28 advertised. The furniture was extremely nice, the patio furniture very upscale, the mattresses were much more comfortable than I have at home. The view was spectacular, the pool extraordinarily nice and the the theater easily accommodated our group. The kids even used the theater to produce two plays for the adults. The cabin was only about 8 minutes from Pigeon Forge. I had one minor issue, probably because the cabin was new, called David with the rental management company and it was addressed immediately. Bottom line we thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin and will definitely be coming back sometime this Fall. I can truly recommend staying here without reservation!

Lookout Lodge is an incredible find! It is spacious, well appointed, and feels like home as soon as you walk in the door! The view is beautiful, the cabin is packed with fun, and almost every detail was thought of. The cabin was very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked. You would have enough plates, cups, bowls, and silverware to feed an army (or at least a large group of friends/family). They even had plastic ware for the kids! Don't worry about having the right tools to cook either. They had a crockpot, toaster, blender, a Keurig, regular coffee pot, electric griddle, and more. They even had storage containers for leftovers! The kitchen wasn't the only well stocked area of the house, the attention to detail throughout the cabin was outstanding. You'll have more than enough towels, wash clothes, and hand towels to go around. They really have thought of almost everything as they even had laundry baskets, cleaning supplies, a few pool toys (bring your own floats/noodles), extra fans, hangers galore, and plenty of extra pillows and blankets for the very comfy beds. The pool was a highlight for all of us and we spent a great deal of time enjoying the pool room as a family. We even watched a couple movies while floating in the water. We did not use the hot tub very much because we spent so much of our water time in the pool. Another highlight was the awesome movie room. We watched a few movies and an NBA playoff game there. We also made use of the television in the living room for even more movie watching. The owner was always available and prompt in returning calls and texts. I would not hesitate to rent from them again! They were very friendly and made our stay a very pleasant one. They fully disclosed that construction was ongoing near the cabin in the rental description. Before we arrived, this was a worry of mine. However, though the road to the cabin was often times busy with construction crews, , it really didn't bother us at all and had no impact on our time inside of the cabin. I would not let the fear the ongoing construction stop you from renting this cabin! Two very minor things that were missing were a trash can on the bottom floor (personally, I'd add two, one in the laundry room and another one in the bathroom). And second, if you want night lights, be sure to pack your own as we didn't find any there. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family and I wish we were back there right now!

You'll have more than enough towels, wash clothes, and hand towels to go around. They really have thought of almost everything as they even had laundry baskets, cleaning supplies, a few pool toys (bring your own floats/noodles), extra fans, hangers galore, and plenty of extra pillows and blankets for the very comfy beds. The pool was a highlight for all of us and we spent a great deal of time enjoying the pool room as a family. We even watched a couple movies while floating in the water. We did not use the hot tub very much because we spent so much of our water time in the pool. Another highlight was the awesome movie room. We watched a few movies and an NBA playoff game there. We also made use of the television in the living room for even more movie watching. The owner was always available and prompt in returning calls and texts. I would not hesitate to rent from them again! They were very friendly and made our stay a very pleasant one. They fully disclosed that construction was ongoing near the cabin in the rental description. Before we arrived, this was a worry of mine. However, though the road to the cabin was often times busy with construction crews, , it really didn't bother us at all and had no impact on our time inside of the cabin. I would not let the fear the ongoing construction stop you from renting this cabin! Two very minor things that were missing were a trash can on the bottom floor (personally, I'd add two, one in the laundry room and another one in the bathroom). And second, if you want night lights, be sure to pack your own as we didn't find any there. I would recommend this cabin to friends and family and I wish we were back there right now!

I believe we were the first guests to stay in this cabin and we were amazed how well decorated entire cabin was. While we only had 13 people the kitchen truly could handle the 28 advertised. The furniture was extremely nice, the patio furniture very upscale, the mattresses were much more comfortable than I have at home. The view was spectacular, the pool extraordinarily nice and the the theater easily accommodated our group. The kids even used the theater to produce two plays for the adults. The cabin was only about 8 minutes from Pigeon Forge. I had one minor issue, probably because the cabin was new, called David with the rental management company and it was addressed immediately. Bottom line we thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin and will definitely be coming back sometime this Fall. I can truly recommend staying here without reservation!

This home was perfect for our group of 24. The home was immaculate when we arrived. Check-in was easy. The view is amazing. The amenities at the home are so awesome (flat screens everywhere, theater, pool, hot tub—just to make a few). We made some wonderful memories!

We all loved the Chalet! It was beautiful inside and the scenery outside from the back porch. The decor inside was very nice. - beds were comfortable - enough space for everyone - the kids loved the downstairs and stayed down there most of the time. Kids ranged from 5-11 - lock to the pool was very nice - living room furniture was very comfortable - owner got back to me pretty quickly It's very close to pigeon forge maybe a 10 minute drive down the road. A few hiccups but nothing too bad. I would definitely stay again!

We found David's place and he not only agreed to take us on last minute, he had the cabin ready in 4 hours!!
