A View From Above

We really enjoyed this cabin in the Smoky Mountains! It has a phenomenal view… you can even see the Dollywood fireworks from the deck and is really private considering it is in a hopping vacation rental community. The furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is nicely outfitted with everything you would need to prepare meals though we ate out most of the time. Overall the cabin was very clean, which is very important to me. The beds were comfortable and bedding was quality. We brought beach towels as there were none in the cabin to use after hot tubbing. The game area in the loft was awesome! We enjoyed playing the classic arcade games and air hockey. After staying for 10 nights and visiting the communities of Pigeon Forge, Townsend, and Gatlinburg, without a doubt this cabin has a superb location! We were able to avoid all traffic and stay off the dreaded Parkway almost the entire trip. It was also a very short distance to the national park and we spent time there hiking and driving the loops. Another plus was the amount of highly-rated restaurants within a 10-20 minute drive. When we return to the area, we will definitely rent this cabin again.

This was a mini get away and I spent hours looking for the right cabin in the right location and accessibility. My expectations was far exceed. Cabin was easy to find and access and only 5 miles from the parkway in Pigeon Forge. Very modern, updated and extremely clean. I highly recommend this cabin.

My wife and I chose this cabin to celebrate our 50th reunion! One of our primary wishes was an unobstructed view of mountain vistas and forests; NOT other cabins. Wow, were we ever pleased! When we opened the front door, we were met with a picture window view of the most spectacular mountain view including Mt. LeConte!Though the cabin is in a resort area, there is no cabin on one side and there is space between this cabin and the one on the other side. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and just as described. It was a short 10 minute or so drive to Pigeon Forge. We just got home yesterday, and have already booked our next trip back to A View Above!

The views were truly breathtaking! I searched for weeks for a cabin with privacy and extraordinary views and am so thankful that I chose this cabin. It will not disappoint! While the cabin is in a tight community, the orientation of the deck is quite private. Communication with the host was simple, and response was immediate. Two master suites were perfect for a long weekend with our adult daughter. Beds were super comfortable. Easy drive to Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This cabin is delightful! We will definitely make this our go-to place to stay in the future!

You will not be disappointed with this cabin! My husband and I booked it for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did! It was perfect! The communication prior to arrival was above and beyond and if we had issues during our stay (which we didn't) they made it clear they were available to us. This cabin is perfectly positioned for the best views! The porch is located on the back of the cabin and allows for privacy while viewing the morning sunrise or winding down in the evening as the stars appear. The cabin is clean, well organized and has a few amenities, such as toilet paper, hand soap, etc. that will get you through if you have a super late arrival. The game loft is a bonus too! It is the perfect cabin if you want to stay in, but is also close enough to the fun things Pigeon Forge has to offer. We hated to leave, but plan to visit again soon! Treat yourself and book this cabin!

The property description and pictures were spot on. The property was clean when we arrived and we appreciated the AC since the outside temps were higher this time of year. The bed was super comfy so we slept well every night. It is on the softer side, which was perfect for us but if someone likes sleeping on a harder bed, keep this in mind. This property is in a developing cottage rental community, but the cottage itself is separate and does allow for some privacy on the back porch. We also appreciate that they offer two types of coffee makers since we are old-fashioned, and love to use a drip coffee maker. Having a private parking pad was a plus.We absolutely loved how close this cabin was to everything we chose to do during our visit, including tons of wonderful restaurants. There were so many to choose from so we will definitely have to come back and try some of the other others we did not try this visit.We did share some feedback on a couple of things that we wanted the property manager to be aware of, but it was nothing that deterred from our stay at this beautiful cabin. We would love to stay here again, if our journeys bring us back to Sieverville.

It was quiet and peaceful. We saw some bears in our area which was so crazy. I knew they were around, but didn't really think we would see any. The cabin had all the accommodations we needed. We were out and about about with our two teenage boys doing hikes and going to gatlinburg (10 minute drive from cabin) so we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the cabin. This place is perfect. One master bedroom downstairs plus an extra half bath. Upstairs you will find a second large bedroom and large loft area with another full bathroom. Four adults - we had a great time here. Clean, beautiful views from the back porch where the hot tub is located. Spent every evening in the hot tub. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for easy day trips. Would definitely recommend to any type of group. We didn't have small kids but it had a great loft area that they would have enjoyed.

From start to finish, Coastal Vibe Vacations was very responsive with messaging. It was a wonderful venue and basically next door to the wedding venue for my son's big day. The detailed instructions were very helpful. The filter on fridge needed to be replaced so the water did not work. They were very quick to respond and sent someone to have it replaced. The place was very clean. The views were amazing. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Four adults - we had a great time here. Clean, beautiful views from the back porch where the hot tub is located. Spent every evening in the hot tub. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for easy day trips. Would definitely recommend to any type of group. We didn’t have small kids but it had a great loft area that they would have enjoyed.

Lots of utensils and equipment for cooking as we did not eat out once during our 5 day stay. The beds were very comfortable. The washing machine had a funny smell and I had to clean the rubber seal which appeared to have not been cleaned ever. Which made it much better but not perfect. The hot tub was very nice. Had an issue with the electric blinds not working. Reached out and it was fixed first thing the next morning. Overall a great stay.

It was a great location - close to pigeon forge and gatlinburg but far enough away that you can relax and enjoy nature too. Fantastic view of the mountains! The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the cookware we needed. The management team was very quick to respond to any questions we had (which really just surrounded us not being sure what to do about snow - we’re Florida). When it did snow the road leading up to the cabin was taken care of quickly even on Saturday!

Wow! What a beautiful cabin and view. Depending on what you are doing in the area, you may find the cabin a bit off the beaten path. For us, it was perfect. We wanted something with a view, where we could relax for a long weekend. This fit the bill. We took advantage of the fireplace and the mountain view, even played a game of air hockey. Did I mention the view? You can see for miles. Truly gorgeous.

When we pulled up, we were in awe… this Cabins views are BREATHTAKING! It’s in the middle of everything so it’s not a far drive to gatlinburgs biggest destinations. We are already talking about our next trip here. We also saw a black bear walk in front of the driveway about an hour after we arrived. Great place to stay

This has been best cabin we have ever stayed in. This is our 5th time vacationing in the Smokies. The views from this cabin are spectacular I could of sat on the deck all day! The cabin was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable beds. Plenty of linens for the entire week. The location is perfect close enough to attractions but out of the hustle and bustle of traffic. This cabin will be our go to when we are vacationing!! We can't wait to return next summer.

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental for our honeymoon. The view was spectacular and was beyond anything we could've imagined. The neighborhood was gorgeous when you enter into the neighborhood you cross a bridge that runs through a beautiful stream. The rental was clean and cool when we arrived. We especially enjoyed the hot-tub that was filled with fresh water and overlooked the beautiful mountain range. Was the most relaxing stay, was much needed after our wedding.

The view is unbeatable. The deck faces the sunrise over the mountains. Spectacular. The home was mostly in good condition and I would recommend this house to anyone. For this price, location, and view you can't beat it. I would however provide a few notes to help with packing for anyone staying there: They only provide 3 dishwasher soaps, and 3 laundry soaps (regardless of length of stay) but you are expected to run the dishwasher and clean all towels before you leave, so be sure to bring extra. They only provide a starter pack for of 1-ply toilet paper for each bathroom so if you are going to be there more than a couple days be sure to bring more. The pots and pans are non-stick but very scratched so if this concerns you bring your own pans. The can opener is useless, be sure to bring your own. The only plastic spatula is so floppy it can't even bear the weight of eggs so be sure to bring your own. These issues are minor compared to the view you get, but helpful for packing.

We spent Valentine's Day here and all I can say is WOW! I've stayed at many cabins in the Smokies and this tops them all. By FAR the best view in the area! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook, we didn't eat out once. Super clean, nicely decorated, and fully stocked with everything you need. The perfect romantic getaway!

The cabin was beautiful, the view out the back was gorgeous. Sitting in the hot tub after a day of hiking was the best way to end the day. It was nice to have a few dishwasher tabs, laundry pods, and lots of towels. Most everything in the kitchen was good. It could use a few more pieces like a cookie sheet and casserole dish, like a 9x13 or 8x8. We loved our time at this cabin, we would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend this as it was super easy to get to and 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge, the cabin was easily accessible and nothing to steep or scary going up. The view from the cabin is just breath taking. My favorite thing was the privacy, sunsets & sunrises (with of course your favorite blend of coffee as a latte) super kid friendly- they loved the hockey table

This place was great!! Plenty of space for the family, a beautiful view and area as well! Loved that the cabin was on level ground despite being in the mountains and plenty of space to park. The entire resort was beautiful and we drove around to check it all out and even spotted a bear and some cats. They had plenty of towels and even gave you a starter kit in case you didn't have a chance to run to the store the first night. The chairs out back were comfy and you could enjoy the hot tub at night with lights!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It's easy to get to and only minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge. The view from the deck/hot tub is beautiful. The beds are so comfortable! This place is beautiful, pictures don’t even do it justice! Check in was easy and the cabin has the supplies to get you started. It was great to be close to town while being far away from the hustle and bustle. Everything was clean and David was responsive when needed! Would highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed 7 nights, 4 adults and 2 kids. The location can't be beat. It's just outside the noise of the main drag to make it feel secluded while still being convenient to everything. The views are amazing and the cabin itself is beautiful. We'd recommend it to anyone.

The cabin was beautiful. Well maintained. Concerns were addressed immediately. The view was spectacular. We were very happy with our choice and would certainly book this property again. One suggestion would be to install grab bars near the downstairs tub. It would be very beneficial to older adults getting in and out of the shower.

We stayed for a long weekend at the end of January. We loved the cabin but unfortunately the pipes froze and we were without water. Luckily, the owner was very nice and let us stay in another one of their properties close by! It was a great weekend and we will definitely be returning soon!

This is the absolute perfect cabin for a small family getaway. I took my two children and my mother, we spent 4 nights in this spectacular cabin, and it couldn’t have been any better. The host sent me an email a couple of weeks prior to my stay with things that were included/recommendations for things I might need, and specific/easy-to-follow directions for how to get to the location of the cabin. He sent another email a couple of days prior detailing the same information. I felt prepared for my trip, which eased a lot of stress. The community that the cabin is in is very neat, clean, and quiet. The views are spectacular, I couldn’t have found a better place for my budget! The cabin was very clean upon arrival. The gas fireplace was a necessity with the cold temperatures, and idiot proof to operate. Everything in this cabin was clean and working appropriately. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the air hockey table and the video game that is located in the entertainment area upstairs. We felt so cozy and are looking forward to booking this place again in the future. Thank you for sharing your little piece of Heaven with us!

My wife and I had a wonderful time, the cabin was beautiful we really felt at home in this cabin. There were a few minor issues that were taken care of immediately. We even met the owner who was in town on vacation as well. We just relaxed enjoying the sites and all there is to do in Pigeon Forge. It was a perfect size two bedroom for us. This home was everything and more! We have never been to Tennessee before and let me say this stay did not disappoint. Home was beautiful and the views were breath taking! Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. We had a little issue with the Hot Tub, but we were understanding that things happen. This place has the Best View! We just enjoyed everything about this stay. It was spacious and very roomy for our whole family. The kids enjoyed the pool right down the road, it had a very nice hang out area with a fireplace too. The hot tub on the back porch was just perfect. Comfortable beds and big towels with plenty of extra bedding, they thought everything out when building this new cabin. Hosts were always very quick at getting back to us too! Thanks again!

David's cabin was very nice. Cleanliness, amenities, and a terrific view from the balcony were key features that made our stay great. Our kids loved the arcade console, and we all enjoyed the hot tub and meals in the pristine and well stocked kitchen. The cabin also has a pack and play, which was a great amenity to have on site for our 6-month old. This is a great stay for families or couples.

This cabin was exactly what we wanted! It was the perfect location for the weekend...and only a 15 minute drive to the main road full of entertainment Pigeon Forge and a grocery store along the way. The view is incredible!

We loved our stay! The location was perfect! The view is amazing! Close enough to attractions but far enough from the hustle and bustle. We had everything we needed and more which really made our stay super comfortable. The beds are very comfortable as well, so we were able to get a good night's rest. The communication with David was excellent as well. If we ever come up this way again, we will definitely stay here.

We booked this cabin last minute and it did not disappoint. The owners were nice enough to accommodate us with an earlier check-in. The beds and pillows are super comfy, although the quilt on the upstairs bed did have a bit of a musky odor to it, once removed it was perfectly comfortable. The view is amazing, and the hot tub is an added perk. My only complaint would be the privacy of two other cabins to your right looking directly on your porch. The other reviews about the cabins across the street are not an exaggeration. Those cabins are quite large, loud & hopping, and due to their size we kept having their guests parking overflow into our driveway as if it was public parking. It did throw us for a loop the first time we pulled up thinking we were in the wrong location. It wasn’t a problem for us being we only had one vehicle so we gladly shared the space, but I could see where it could pose a problem for anyone traveling with a few vehicles. Obviously, the owners of this cabin have nothing to do with that, but it may be something you’ll encounter during your stay. This cabin is just close enough to the craziness of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but far enough away to feel secluded for anyone from a big city. It was the perfect get-away for the week for my family and we hope to return again someday. Thank you for opening your home and making it a comfortable retreat to stop and refresh.

This place is absolutely amazing. It has the best views of any of the cabins in this area. Great location in Wears Valley, putting it close enough to get to Pigeon Forge but out of all the craziness. The decor is amazing, modern rustic without being too cliche. This place is perfect for a smaller family or two looking to enjoy the Mountain View’s from your porch.

Great location overlooking the Smoky's. Gorgeous sunrises every day. The house was very nice, mostly clean although we did have to sweep a bit under the beds and couch since we had a baby crawling around on the floor. Make sure you bring everything you'll need for the kitchen. There is literally nothing stocked which was a bit of a surprise to us compared to other properties we've stayed at in the past. Ended up also having to purchase toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags. If you're staying longer than 2 nights, you will too.

We don't leave spices and food behind in our cabins because our woodland friends also seem to love those :) When guests leave items behind, we donate to local food pantries. Amazing views, amazing finishes, comfy and homey, yet extremely functional and up to date in terms of technology. You can spend a whole week here without feeling the need to leave. Love the TV entertainment system in EVERY room (Roku included). It made it easy to relax literally anywhere in the house.
The game room space is also just amazing. Great for kids and adult alike.
Overall, the place is very well maintained and extremely clean as well!

Our trip was Thursday-Sunday and we came so my best friends boyfriend could propose. David sent me everything I needed for check in well ahead of our trip, which made checking in a breeze. The cabin is beautifully decorated and had mostly everything we needed. It would’ve been helpful to have more trash bags and maybe some local guides. It had plenty of room for our large group and was very clean upon arrival. I recommend getting the hottub warming up right when you arrive if you plan to use it. Also watch out for hornets near the hot tub. My favorite part was relaxing in the hot tub after a long hike and taking in the scenery, and having a cup of coffee and watching the sun rise. Overall this place was great, I’ll be coming back just for the views and location!!

Beautiful, new cabin in a subdivision off of Wears Valley Road, conveniently located between Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Very tastefully decorated, and comfortable space with a game room for the kids and a hot tub on the back deck, complete with spectacular views. The subdivision itself feels crowded and doesn’t lend much of a sense of privacy, but once you’re inside the cabin and on the back deck, it feels more private and easy to forget how close all the other rental properties are. No issues with noise at night.

Two things cannot not be overstated...the view which was absolutely gorgeous in cloudy, raining, snowy, and sunny weather all of which we had during our Holiday getaway...and second is the cleanliness of the cabin. Our family of 6 (two teenage boys included) loved all aspects of the cabin, the amenities, the view, the coziness of the place, we had a wonderful Holiday getaway. The hot tub was fantastic and having it drained and refilled with each stay is great, but it will take a day for the water to get to temp if it was completed on the day you arrive...ie our kids were anxious to use the tub but had to wait for the next day to actually use it. It was also well located with an easy 20-30 min drive to all the places that we visited including downtown Gatlinburg and the National Park. We certainly look forward to booking again when we return to the Great Smoky Mtn area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!

We rented the cabin with much time in advance, the communication with david was smooth and friendly, he did all he could for our perfect vacation as a family. We were a group of 8, my husband and I , plus our 3 adult kids with their respective couple. Each one had a room and plenty of privacy. We enjoyed tremendously the movie room and the indoor pool since most of our week was cloudy and and we had a good 3 big rainy days. Overall would suggest this rental and plan to come back!! Maybe with a smaller group. It was beautiful, the views we're amazing, best we have ever had . Also, location is great. Only a few minor drawbacks of this cabin with a large group: I can honestly say that although it sleeps ten, our family of nine, is just too loud to be this confined. If it had a third level that held the game room, it may have worked out better for us. Also if you do have nine or more know you will need to wash towels often. Overall would suggest this rental and plan to come back!! Maybe with a smaller group. It was beautiful, the views we're amazing, best we have ever had . Also, location is great. Only a few minor drawbacks of this cabin with a large group: I can honestly say that although it sleeps ten, our family of nine, is just too loud to be this confined. If it had a third level that held the game room, it may have worked out better for us. Also if you do have nine or more know you will need to wash towels often. This cabin is amazing, it's new and very well designed for maximum light and views. The decor was to a high standard and the cabin had everything you required. We loved spending evening curled up in from of the gas log fire watching good films on Netflix and stepping out onto the balcony to use the hot tub. The views from the property were amazing, we did have some difficulty in finding the property but with the help of a few people we finally found it. We would love to come back one day and stay again, I highly recommend this cabin you won't be disappointed and though it has 2 bedrooms it could easily sleep 8 people on the 2 sofa beds.

We were very pleased that the cabin and view were just as pictured. The views were amazing as soon as you step in the front door and are great from every room. And hot tub under a full moon - WOW! The cabin is in a nice resort with good roads and was much closer to Pigeon Forge than we expected. Made it easy to spend the day at the cabin and then ride out for dinner at The Old Mill and a show at Country Tonite, recommend both! Although there are still quite a few cabins going up it didn't impact us during our stay. Being new everything was in great condition. The management responded promptly to every question prior to booking and was available after we got there. Would to return again and maybe with our kids next time as they would like the games, hot tub and layout as well. Made for special anniversary memories.

This cabin is amazing. The view is so good that photos can't begin to do it justice. If you want to take in sunrises that will take your breath away this is the place for you. The decor is also as equally impressive, and the cabin was spotless. The management company was great to work with and made access easy. All in all a wonderful weekend!

We have never stayed anywhere that had a view that was comparable. The cabin was amazing in every respect. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen well appointed with everything you could think of at your finger tips and it was obvious the cabin was designer decorated. The balcony gliders made sitting out on the deck for coffee in the mornings and a drink in the evening extremely relaxing. The hot tub was great, as was the arcade and air hockey table. Working with David Jenn was a pleasure and he made several great recommendations on dinning and activities. I can't wait for our next visit to the area and wouldn't stay anyplace else.
